PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR 2010/2011
We are currently registering preschoolers
for the 2010/2011 school year. We invite all current and new preschool
student families to register! The deadline for priority registration is
Friday, January 22nd. Acceptances for new preschool students will be
made by Friday, January 29th.
Registration Information
Our best source of new family referrals is
YOU! We consistently hear from new families that they heard about St.
Joseph from an existing school family who spoke positively about their
experience with our school. As we move into the registration timeframe,
we’d appreciate your support in spreading the word about St. Joseph
School. There are a few ways you can help:
-
Share the school flyer that was sent home in
last Thursday’s folder with potential families.
-
Change your Facebook status to spread the
word about St. Joseph’s. Make this statement below your Facebook
status once a week through February: Are you looking for a quality
education experience for your K-8 children? Check out St. Joseph
School of Issaquah and Snoqualmie! Small class sizes, challenging
academics, and a supportive, family oriented community. Information
meeting dates and registration details available at
http://www.sjsissaquah.org
-
Here’s your chance to win a set of
auctions tickets for November 13, 2010 at the Marriot Redmond Town
Center. For every prospective family you encourage to sign-up and
attend an informational meeting and tour, we will enter your name in
a drawing for a chance to win a set of auction tickets. The
prospective family will only be able to list one referral family
when they sign in at a meeting, but recommend as many prospective
families as you can to increase your chances to win. Any questions,
please contact Ann Shikany at
ashikany@sjsissaquah.org.

Attention All MQP Parishioners -
Help Show our School Spirit
St. Joseph School and St. Louise School
have been invited to show their support for Catholic education at Mary,
Queen of Peace Parish during the 9:00 am and 11:30 am masses on Sunday,

participation in Catholic schools at their parish. So if you will be
attending either of the masses the students are asked to wear their
formal uniform. An added bonus, the Knights of Columbus will be serving
a pancake breakfast and all are welcome.

available to answer questions for potential new families. If you would
like to be an ambassador for our school please contact Ann Shikany at
ashikany@sjsissaquah.org to
sign-up.
This event also includes a few community
service opportunities for our students as well. The Knights would like
to have four 8th grade students to help in the kitchen and four
additional students (any age) to help clear tables in the hall. Please
contact Ann Shikany at
ashikany@sjsissaquah.org to sign-up.

you don’t have room for. The vegetables that were on sale.
The cereal your baby doesn’t like. If it’s good
food—unopened and unexpired—the Issaquah Food Bank really
needs it. Families in crisis means pets in crisis—and a
desperate need for pet food, too. Don’t let your neighbors
go hungry tonight. Please give what you can. Food donations
