TLC
Calling all Cooking Angels!
Here at St Joseph's we are blessed to have a
ministry called TLC that provides meals to our school/church families
when they need it the most. Whether the need is to lighten the load as
families welcome new babies, recover from surgeries or as they mourn the
loss of a loved one, we have consistently been able to shoulder the
burden of dinner time so that families can focus on what’s important.
Hundreds of wonderful dinners have been prepared by our families since
TLC was created.
If you would be interested in supporting the
needs of our school/church families through this ministry over the next
few months, please reach out to me for a schedule. Your commitment
consists of preparing and delivering your specialty dish to a family.
All of your time can be tracked toward your volunteer hours.
Please contact Melanie Spies at
melaniespies@hotmail.com
Coat Drive Success!
A BIG THANK YOU to all our students and families for a very successful
coat drive. We were able to provide 104 warm coats throughout our
community. The Baby Corner, the Issaquah Food Bank and Tent City 4 were
the recipients of your loving work! May our Lord and Savior bless all of
our generous students & families with health and prosperity.
Mass and Mochas!
Come and enjoy Friday morning school Masses
with other St. Joe’s parents, then hop on over to Grimaldi’s Coffee
House in Gilman Village for mochas or other tasty treats, and have some
fun with your brothers and sisters of the St. Joe’s family. This is
purely a social activity with the intent of building our faithful
family. We’d love to see you there.

Parish Food Drive - Ongoing
Canned food. Baby food. Staples
like flour, sugar and cooking oil. Peanut butter and bread
for kids’ lunches. Pasta. Chili. Salt. Anything. The soup
you don’t have room for. The vegetables that were on sale.
The cereal your baby doesn’t like. If it’s good
food—unopened and unexpired—the Issaquah Food Bank really
needs it. Families in crisis means pets in crisis—and a
desperate need for pet food, too. Don’t let your neighbors
go hungry tonight. Please give what you can. Food donations
may be left in the Church, downstairs next to the elevators.
