ALL SCHOOL MASS for our GRADUATES

Friday, June 18 at 9:00 am

All students need to be dropped off at St. Joseph Church in Issaquah starting at 8:45 am for the 9:00 am Baccalaureate Mass.  Students in K – 3 grade are to go their classroom.  Students in 4 – 8 grade are to go to the church hall. Full Dress Uniform is required.

There will be no morning bus service.  The 4th - 6th students will be bused to Snoqualmie after mass.  The afternoon bus route will run on a normal schedule.

St. Joseph Statue - Snoqualmie Campus

Two wonderful parish families, Cathy and Bruce Williams and an anonymous family, graciously donated a beautiful bronze statue of St. Joseph for the Snoqualmie Campus. We feel blessed to receive such a lovely gift. Our patron saint is a wonderful example of Fatherhood and what it means to have blind faith. We pray:

"Almighty God, You entrusted to the faithful care of Joseph the beginnings of the mysteries of man's salvation. Through his intercession may Your Church always be faithful in her service so that Your designs will be fulfilled. Amen."

As you drive into the Snoqualmie campus look for the BIG rock with our name on it and right next to it is the statue of St. Joseph.  Fr. Bryan will dedicate the new statue in the fall, watch for more!

Yearbooks Today!

In your Thursday envelope you will find your preordered yearbook for the 2009/2010 school year! Our students shine bright and beautiful. It has been a great school year.

Library Books

Students please look for library books and return them to the school library. All library books need to be returned before your child's report card is mailed.

Used Book Sale

On Wednesday, June 23rd, the last day of school after mass, you can purchase "new" books for your child to read over the summer. Paperback books are $.50 and hardback books are a $1. All money goes to the school libraries to buy new books. But really this is a great way for your child to get a jump on their summer reading!

Used Uniform Sale

It’s that time of year again. We will be having the Used Uniform Sale on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 23, downstairs in the church hall after mass.  If you have any items that you would like to sell, please bring them to school on Wednesday, June 23 to the lower parking lot after drop-off. Jenny Bluett will be available to pick-up your items.  Please have all items labeled with your family name, price and payment envelope attached. The sale will begin after mass is dismissed.

If you still need last minute volunteer hours, help is needed for set-up and clean-up. Please contact Jenny Bluett at mauikini@aol.com.

Blessings to All our Students, Families and Staff

As we close another wonderful school year at St. Joseph School we look back and thank our Lord and Savior for the many blessings he has bestowed on us! From the H1N1 virus, the long awaited accreditation process and all the challenges life brings us we all came out stronger, wiser and thankful for each other and most importantly our Risen Christ. As Ecclesiastes Chapter 3:1 reminds us “There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens.” So at this appointed time our prayer and hope for all our students, families and staff is for a safe, healthy and very happy summer vacation. May your journeys be blessed with sun and good fortune until we meet again in the fall.

GOING, GOING GONE!

The lost and found will be emptied for the last time this Friday, June 18th at both campuses. All unclaimed items will be donated to the Issaquah Food Bank and any uniform pieces will be sold at the used uniform sale on Wednesday, June 23rd after mass.
