INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

In Our Prayers

On Wednesday, October 28, 2009 our Snoqualmie Campus science teacher Jeanette Bourne lost her mother. As a faith filled community please hold Ms. Bourne and her family in your hearts and prayers as they say good-bye to their beloved mother. We ask our Lord and Good Sheppard to comfort warmly and softly the Bourne family in the coming weeks. Psalms 30:6 “…At nightfall, weeping enters in, but with the dawn, rejoicing.”

Parents' Club

Please join the St. Joseph's Parents' Club on Monday, November 2 at 9:00 am in Issaquah. You will be able to meet this year's board members, hear what we are working on and bring any suggestions you may have. See you there!

Directories

Please look in today's Thursday envelope for your 2009-10 School Directory. This is designed to fit in your white School Binder. We have a small number of folded copies available for your car or for $5.00 each. If you would like one, please contact Teri Negrin at office@sjsissaquah.org to reserve your copy.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES and INFORMATION

Bakers Needed

Calling all desserts! Calling all desserts! What's that saying? If you want something done, ask a busy woman? Yes, it's true! I know you all are very busy people and I appreciate you taking the time to consider a unique way to support the St. Joe's Auction. Please understand, I do not assume you are sitting around eating bon-bons, reading cookbooks and waiting to harvest your organic cocoa plants. (But if you are, call me! I'll bring a movie!) Far from it! However, the St. Joe's auction is on Saturday, November 21 and once again, a dessert auction is one special way to contribute to its success. Please call/email me if you're interested in providing a gourmet dessert. Thank you!
