Auction News!
We would like to extend
our most heartfelt gratitude for your generous support in procurement,
donations, sponsorship (www.sjsissaquah.org),
purchases and fund-an-item donations at our Faithful Friends dinner
auction held on November 21!!! The success that it was, would not have been
possible without everyone’s generosity and for the many volunteers that
made the night happen--for this we are very blessed!!! We are looking
forward to sharing our numbers with you very soon. In the meantime, we
welcome your compliments and comments.
A few housekeeping
notes, several certificates that were generated by the auction committee
will be sent via email, other certificates purchased on the night of the
auction that were not picked up will be coming home in the Thursday
envelope along with auction statements. If you do not receive your
statement or certificate, it will be mailed to you. Please take a few minutes to
check your statement. This statement will also reflect any donations
that qualify for company matching programs. Please note more and more
companies are having employees complete this online. This is a great

HIGH 5'S
Robotics
Competition
Saturday,
December 5th the St. Joseph School Robotics class attended
the Des Moines FIRST Lego League Regional Competition. Both
teams, the Lego Ninjas and Team Mechanix, did very well
finishing the robot competition in the middle of the pack.
Team Mechanix had a rough start in the first round scoring
only 25 points but they bounced back in the second and third
rounds scoring 140 points in each. The Lego Ninjas were more
consistent scoring 120, 120 and 100 points in their three
rounds. The Lego Ninjas also were awarded the Judges Award
which is a significant accomplishment for a rookie team. All
of the students had a good time and learned a lot from their
experience. We look forward to competing in next year's
competition.
If a child has a success to
share, please
submit a blurb to Christine Vollen at
snoqualmie@sjsissaquah.org
to be published.
