The Fulcrum Foundation provides a limited number of partial scholarships based on financial need and uses the same application as for the school. You can learn more and view frequently asked questions here: Fulcrum Foundation.

The deadline for 2024-25 school year is December 31, 2023, to be considered for the Fulcrum Foundation Grant process and January 31, 2024, for consideration by St. Joseph Parish School. After we are informed of the Grants awarded by the Fulcrum Foundation, we will make further decisions on requests during the Registration process.

For the 2024-25 school year, we will be offering a $5,000 scholarship to new middle school applicants that demonstrate academic excellence. Qualifiers must meet grade level subject standards and score in the 75th percentile in MAP or equivalent testing.

  • One $5,000 awarded per family, limit 3 scholarships awarded per year.
  • Preference is given to parishioners at St. Joseph, Mary Queen of Peace or Our Lady of Sorrows who are new to SJS.

To apply, students must submit a short essay (<500 words) on how faith shapes their life and what they hope to encounter in our SJS community. Applicants must submit their essay to Principal Shauna Richards at srichards@sjsissaquah.org with the Subject "SOAR Middle School Scholarship."

If you are looking to apply for Tuition Assistance for the 2024-25 school year after the January 31, 2024 deadline, please contact Business Manager, Jill Orth at business@sjsissaquah.org to ensure that assistance is still available for the year.
