Catholic Youth Organization (CYO)
CYO Athletics is sports done a different way – as one community. Individuals and teams strive for greatness in accordance with Gospel values. To develop the whole person, we teach that success is not measured solely by the scoreboard, but by the effort, team play, and fun of the experience. It is an opportunity to learn team sports and to make friends in a positive environment. Enrollment is open to students attending St. Joseph school, parishioners attending St. Joseph, Mary Queen of Peace or Our Lady of Sorrows.
Our CYO Athletics programs are open to any public, private, or home school child who is a member of either St. Joseph, Mary, Queen of Peace or Our Lady of Sorrows Parish.
To view the grades and sports that are currently registering, see below. To become a coach, please contact us at athletics@sjsissaquah.org.
Parent Like A Champion Today Workshops
- For each sport offering in CYO Athletics (Grades K-8), a parent/guardian is required to attend a workshop prior to any athlete’s participation in league competitions. Workshops will be offered throughout the year, but it is suggested that parents not wait until right before the start of the season to attend the workshop.
-
If you've taken this workshop already for participation in previous CYO offerings, you should not have to take it again.
