Extended Care
Extended Care supports success in school, academically, socially, and physically. This program aims to provide a safe community where students can begin to exercise choice while developing their sense of personal responsibility. Extended Care provides a balance between individual and group activities, quiet study time and homework time, as well as time to relax with friends.
Issaquah Hours: Daily from 7:00am – 8:50am, and 3:20pm – 5:30pm; Snoqualmie students using Issaquah morning Extended Care are bussed to Snoqualmie at 7:55am.

Extended Care will close at 3:30 on Half Days and Conference Days
A typical afternoon schedule for Extended Care is:
3:20-3:45 Snack, attendance and announcements
3:45-4:15 Active playtime
4:15-5:30 Quiet homework/choice time
In case of emergency, our staff may be reached during Extended Care via call or text at 425-428-9754.
Extended Care is not offered in Snoqualmie and as the bus leaves prior to the rest of the students being dismissed, please make certain that you call the Snoqualmie office early in the day to give alternative pick up instructions for your student.
Extended Care is available on some days when there is no school, and on most early dismissal days. Extended Care is available for Preschool students after they reach their 5th birthday. See the EC Holiday Schedule below for days when Extended Care will not be offered.

Billing Information
Extended Care charges are billed to your School Admin account and are not pre-paid. The monthly period used to calculate your fee is generally from the 21st of each month through the 20th of the next month.
Hourly Rate: $10/hr.
Late Fee (after 5:30pm): $2.00/minute per child
The minimum use for any morning Extended Care session is 15 minutes.
The minimum use for any afternoon Extended Care session is 30 minutes.
